COVID-19 Leageu update

Wednesday, March 18, 2020

Hello Bay Area APA Players,

With cases of COVID-19 continuing to rise throughout Pinellas and Pasco Counties, we and APA corporate are constantly monitoring the situation.

As you know, all league matches have been postponed.  We had planned to resume play on March 30th, but since the bars and clubs are currently on a 30-day suspension starting March 15th, it is looking like we will have to postpone play a bit longer unless the suspension is lifted.  We will keep you posted.  The health and well-being of our players is our highest priority.

Some of our locations have revised their hours or may offer take-out options, so if you feel comfortable going out and supporting them, please do so.

We will likely be extending the spring session and will be changing the dates of some of our end-of-session events.  Once we know what those dates will be, we will share them with you immediately.  All changes in the schedules will be updated on the app.  We appreciate your patience and understanding as we maneuver through this difficult situation.

For now, the March 21st 9-Ball Doubles and all Singles Qualifier event have been postponed.  We will announce the new dates in the near future.  We will keep you posted about all upcoming events as well.

Please be safe and continue to do whatever you can to minimize the risk to yourself and your loved ones.  We hope that by all of us taking these precautionary measures, we can return to league play as soon as possible.

Sincerely, Mike & Sherie Strout
