About the APA
The APA is the world’s largest amateur pool league with more than 250,000 members competing in 8-Ball and 9-Ball Leagues throughout
North America

A common misconception about billiards leagues in general is that you have to be an outstanding pool player to be in the league. This is NOT the case for the APA. The APA is a skill based handicap league that requires as many novice players as they do advanced players. What most people do not realize is that
beginning players are worth their weight in gold
to an APA team. With this being said, if you have even the slightest notion to start playing pool, gather a few friends and form a team!
